I am a big fan of the Kemper and I have bought quite a few commercial profiles over the last months, but the Bogner XTC is one of the best… I also like the fact that there are only a few (7) profiles in the pack but all of them very well balanced and usable – in my view much better than to buy 60 profiles of which you can only use a small number – I like that there are superb clean tones in the pack and singing sustained leads… highly recommended!

Amazing profiles, great clean, crunch and high gain saturation levels. As Guido says, “silvery highs”. To me, as I hear in his profiles, this means great top end, but no fizz or harsh piercing treble. His profiles always have this character and for me personally the mid range always sits just right where I like it in my rock tones. I have bought his Peavey 5150, Soldano Hot Rod, Marshall JTM, Marshall JCM 800 Lead Series and Bogner Ecstasy profile sets. I can’t recommend them any higher. Also some really nice effects settings included in some profiles. There may not be as many profiles per pack as some other vendors, and this may be reflected in the very reasonable price but here I believe you are buying quality over quantity, I’d rather have 8 great sounds like these than 5 good and 30 other included that areno use to me.
Thank you very much for the great XTC profiles. At the moment i have started using them with headphones first preparing some rigs. With pure cab function they are absolutely killer.
I’m on the way replacing my Morgan AC20 profiles. I’m using the green for clean and wet sounds and the red for dirty stuff. Even with my R8 the red channel goes from clean to crunch to full throttle by only using picking attack and/or volume pot with equal volume. Next i will try this in the return of my Fuchs FullHouse 50 and finally in a FRFR (maybe DXR10 ?).
This is a REAL REAL REAL bargain. Still looking for some Fender stuff.
