He sang before he could even speak. This did not go unnoticed by his parents, who always tried to give him and his brother Tayfun as much as possible. As a teenager in the 80s, he got his first four-track recorder so he could record his first own songs &#8211; inspired by soul greats such as Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and Terence Trent D&#8217;Arby.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">At the age of 20, he met his <b>Orange Blue<\/b> partner <b>Vince Bahrdt<\/b> through an advert and the rest is history: after a trip to the Stage School Hamburg, studying acting in New York and his first leading role in the musical &#8220;Pico&#8221;, his big breakthrough finally came in 2000 with <b>Orange Blue<\/b>. In 1990 he completed a jazz degree at the University of Music and Theater in Hamburg.
